Training on Basic Fire Fighting Mabini, Pangasinan September 2016 Municipal Disaster risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO), the Municipal Mayor in cooperation with the Alaminos City Central Fire Station, conducted training on Basic Fire Fighting Operations on September 29, 2016 at the 3rd Floor, Municipal Hall, Mabini, Pangasinan.

The training aims to equip the Mabini’s MDRRMO staff and volunteers in firefighting and fire rescue skills that will make them reliable rescuers not only during emergencies but in other given situation.

The basic firefighting course covers the subjects on General Fire Subjects, Firefighting Apparatus, Tools and Equipment, Fire Suppression and Control, and Rescue and Emergency Medical Operations.

Through the training course, the participants will be able to: 1. gain fundamental knowledge on fire safety and suppression; 2. develop the skills on Rope Rescue and Medical First Response; 3. become an effective member of the Fire Brigade; 4. response confidently to any emergencies, that will transpire at his workplace; and 5. become catalysts to being safety conscious members of the workplace as well as in the community.

More than 30 participants from the Mabini’s MDRRMO staff and volunteers were present in the said training.
