Fogging and larviciding operation was conducted by the Local Government Unit of Mabini, Pangasinan through the Mabini Vector Control Team in all Private and Public Schools of the District of Mabini and the Barangay Day Care Centers headed by Mr. Keith Balintos, Municipal Sanitation Inspector III.

There are reported dengue cases in this town but not yet reach the outbreak.

“Clean-up drive- larviciding- fogging is the complete process of fighting the dengue carrying mosquito.” Mr. Keith Balintos explains.

Clean-up drive aims to search and destroy the dengue mosquito breeding site. Larviciding kills the larva mosquito and fogging eradicates the adult mosquito. Balintos added.

Some teachers expressed their gratitude to Mabini Vector Control Team and LGU Mabini in this activity because it really shows that they care to the health of the pupils and students.

Furthermore, the team is also conducting house to house fogging and larviciding operation in different barangays of this town. With this, they also encourage the people to maintain cleanliness in their areas.
